New energy vehicle subsidies will be completely withdrawn after 2020

This year, the 2018 China Electric Vehicles 100 People's Conference was held. The meeting discussed the development direction of intelligent and pure electric vehicles for new energy vehicles, and clearly pointed out that the financial subsidies for electric vehicles will be withdrawn after 2020. When talking about future development, experts said that the fuel vehicle delisting schedule is being studied.

According to CCTV news reports, at present, every time a car enterprise sells a new energy vehicle, the state will give a certain proportion of financial subsidies based on key technical indicators such as system energy density, vehicle kerb quality, vehicle cruising range, and fast charge and charge ratio. And set up a year-on-year retreat mechanism, and at the same time determine the 2020 electric vehicle financial subsidies to withdraw.

In the previous notice, new energy vehicles were exempted from vehicle purchase tax in the next three years, including pure electric vehicles, plug-in (including extended-program) hybrid vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles.

Some consumers choose to buy new energy vehicles. In addition to environmental awareness and car purchase preferential policies, it is often too difficult to shake the ordinary passenger cars.

In order to improve the status quo of urban traffic, Beijing has implemented the control measures for the number of passenger cars since 2011. With the increasing number of applicants participating in the lottery, the winning rate of ordinary passenger cars is getting lower and lower. This year, the index of ordinary passenger cars in Beijing has dropped from 90,000 last year to 38,000. It is no doubt that it is even harder to win.

At the same time, Beijing has adjusted the individual passenger car allocation indicators. In this year's indicator number, the proportion of new energy vehicles exceeded the ordinary automobile index for the first time, reaching 54,000.

What will happen to the future development of the automotive industry? Experts said that the relevant fuel vehicle delisting schedule is under study.

In fact, the delisting of fuel vehicles has been planned in many countries around the world. In April and May 2016, the Netherlands and Norway announced that they will completely ban the sale of traditional fuel vehicles in 2025. In October, Germany passed the proposal to suspend the sale of fuel vehicles in 2030. In July last year, the United Kingdom and France also announced The fuel vehicle was completely discontinued in 2040. Experts said that the upgrading from fuel vehicles to new energy vehicles is the trend of the times.

Wu Zhixin, deputy director of the China Automotive Technology and Research Center, said that the development of new energy vehicles does not mean the complete disappearance of traditional cars.
