Hirose DF63 Connector

The Hirose DF63 Series is a comprehensive line of 15A, 3.96mm-pitch wire-to-board connectors designed for internal power supply applications and certified to UL, C-UL, and TÜV standards. Engineered for reliability, these connectors support a high current rating of up to 15A with 16 AWG wire. They are available in 1 to 6 positions, with select models also offering a 7.92mm pitch for 2 and 3-position configurations without pins. Key features include a secure locking mechanism that provides clear tactile feedback to prevent incomplete mating, a structure that prevents incomplete crimp contact insertion, and a guide post on pin headers to avoid reverse PCB mounting. The design also incorporates short-circuit prevention through isolated contacts, a molded lance to reduce wire tangling, and compatibility with potting up to 5mm. Constructed with glass-reinforced PBT insulation and available in straight or right-angle headers, crimp sockets, and in-line plugs, the DF63 Series is suitable for demanding environments, operating from -55°C to +105°C, and offers robust performance for power connections in various electronic equipment.
