The Hirose ZE064W series is a compact and waterproof connector designed for automotive interface applications in harsh environments. Its space-saving design features a 0.64mm terminal on a 2.2mm pitch. The connector offers high reliability with a vibration-resistant female terminal design incorporating a double-layer spring and 3-point contact. It is rated for high heat resistance up to 125℃ and provides robust waterproofing compliant with IP67 and IP69K standards, making it suitable for high-pressure washdowns. Key electrical ratings are 5A (single pin) and 2A (all pins) at 60V AC/DC. The series includes 8, 14, and 24-position variants in plug and jack types with screw panel mounting. Safety features include mating keys to prevent mis-mating and a retainer to prevent incomplete terminal insertion, ensuring a secure connection. It is compatible with 20-22 AWG wire and uses tin-plated crimp contacts.

6. Mating Keys. Prevents mis-mating when using multiple connectors.
7. Retainer. The retainer prevents incomplete terminal insertion and has high contact reliability during cable routing.
