The JST BL Wire-to-Wire Connector is a specialized solution designed for short-circuit connections, offering reliability and ease of use in various electrical applications. Its key feature is the integration of tab contacts within the housing, allowing for efficient short-circuit connections. The connector employs a housing lance system, where resilient plastic lances secure the contacts within the housing rather than on the contacts themselves. This design enhances durability, prevents damage from handling, and allows for smooth and consistent insertion with a tactile confirmation upon completion. For added safety, the connector includes secondary retainers that prevent partial insertion or accidental disconnection by guiding and locking contacts into their correct positions. A compact panel lock construction ensures that wires remain untangled and minimizes the risk of accidental breakage during handling. Additionally, pre-assembled versions with built-in tab contacts are available, streamlining installation and reducing assembly time. Customers can order these versions using specially designated model numbers.
