JST BSS Connector, Wire to Board Type
The JST BSS Connector is a 3.0 mm pitch surface-mount technology (SMT) connector designed specifically for secondary power supply applications, offering a robust current carrying capacity of up to 7A using AWG #18 wire. This dual-row connector provides excellent functionality and ease of use, featuring a suction area on its top side to accommodate pick-and-place machine nozzles, eliminating the need for additional suction tape. For enhanced usability and versatility, the connector comes with two keying options (Type A and Type B), available in configurations of 4 or 6 circuits. Additionally, it incorporates an inertial lock mechanism to ensure secure and reliable connections in demanding environments.

Note:
- Do not branch in parallel current which exceeds the rated current. If branched in parallel, current imbalance or other problems may occur. If it is absolutely necessary to branch such a large current in parallel, design the circuits without causing any imbalance and provide extra margin for each circuit.
- The rated current varies depending on the number of circuits in the housing and the wire to be crimped. The current rating for each housing and wire is as above.
