The JST JWPS connector is a high-performance wire-to-wire connector designed specifically for applications requiring superior waterproofing capabilities. It meets the Grade 7 ingress protection standard of JIS C 0920 (equivalent to IPX7 under IEC 60529), ensuring reliable performance even in environments exposed to water immersion. Key features include an integrated seal ring and solid rubber seal for enhanced waterproof performance, a robust double-spring construction for secure connections, and housing-to-terminal locks for added reliability.
