Molex Mini-Fit BMI (Blind-Mate Interface) connectors are engineered for reliable and flexible connections, providing a "float" feature with up to 2.54 mm (.100") of misalignment tolerance between mating surfaces, ideal for applications requiring blind-mate capability. The Mini-Fit BMI series offers a comprehensive selection to suit a wide range of needs, including vertical and right-angle configurations, single and dual-row options, and circuit sizes ranging from 4 to 24. Designed for versatility and durability, these connectors incorporate standard Mini-Fit female and male crimp terminals, ensuring compatibility and ease of use. The panel-mount receptacles are uniquely crafted to self-align or "float," while headers and plugs are equipped with flanges that guide the mating process for seamless connectivity. The lineup includes two primary receptacle styles: the classic Mini-Fit BMI receptacle (Series 42474) and the advanced Mini-Fit BMI Slide-and-Lock™, which features a convenient thumb latch for effortless panel removal.
