The Molex RAST Power Connectors series provides versatile and dependable solutions for power distribution in compact, high-performance packages, tailored for demanding applications such as home appliance wiring harnesses. This series includes the RAST 5, RAST 2.5, and RAST Power Connector systems, supporting up to 16A of current. Designed for direct mating to PCBs or with standard RAST headers on a 5.00mm pitch, these connectors ensure robust electrical connections while optimizing space. Available in configurations of two to 12 circuits, the connectors deliver a maximum of 6.0A with tin plating and up to 10.0A with silver plating for enhanced performance. Featuring a variety of keying and coding options, polarizing ribs, and open or closed-end walls, they offer design flexibility to meet specific application needs. Molded from glow-wire compliant materials, these housings meet stringent European safety standards, including the IEC-60335-1 4th Edition specification, ensuring reliability in both residential and industrial settings.
