Sumitomo HD Connector

The Sumitomo HD Connector series is an enhanced version of the traditional HM series, designed with a mechanism to minimize the risk of terminal back out and partial engagement of connectors, ensuring secure connections. This series includes 090, 250, and 305 types, and for hybrid models, 090, 187, 250, and 305 types, catering to a wide range of applications from signal transmission to power circuits. A notable feature is the automatic adjustment of improperly inserted terminals, achieved by a built-in retainer that ensures terminals are set correctly. For the 090 type, the retainers are integrated directly into the housing during molding, while the 250 and 305 types have pre-mounted retainers that enhance operability. Additionally, the connector housing can accommodate an extra clip, enabling it to be securely attached to the vehicle body, further improving the reliability and stability of the connection.
