The Sumitomo US Sealed Connectors are designed to meet SAE/USCAR-2 standards, ensuring reliable performance across various automotive applications. This series includes connectors with terminal sizes of 0.64mm, 1.5mm, 2.8mm, and 6.3mm, catering to a wide range of circuits from signal to power. The design emphasizes secure and precise terminal positioning, with a Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) mechanism that only allows the TPA to be set once the terminal is fully inserted. This feature reduces the risk of incomplete connections and ensures long-term stability. Additionally, the connectors come with pre-mounted TPAs on the housings, which can be easily set using a uniform operation across all configurations, regardless of the number of ways.
