UL1533 Shielding Wire

 

UL1533 shielding wire is a single-core cable designed for electrical and electronic equipment, widely used in applications such as household appliances, audio/video systems, and automotive electronics (e.g.,Vehicle-mounted camera cable). It features a conductor made of bare or tinned copper (16-30 AWG) with semi-rigid PVC insulation and a shielding layer composed of braided or wrapped copper/tinned copper, achieving 85% coverage to effectively block electromagnetic interference. Rated for long-term use at 80°C and short-term exposure to 60°C in oily environments, it meets safety standards including UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 flame retardancy certifications. The cable’s flexibility, easy installation (with uniform insulation thickness), and environmental resistance (oil, moisture, mold) make it ideal for signal transmission in precision scenarios like industrial controls and smart devices.
