Auxiliary Materials (Protection & Durability)
To protect the core wiring, we specify high-performance auxiliary materials. Corrugated Conduits made from PA6 (Nylon) or PP provide crush and abrasion resistance; we select flame-retardant grades for sections near the exhaust. For added aesthetic and abrasion resistance, PET Braided Sleeving is applied. Finally, we use Fleece Cloth Tape for final bundling, which dampens vibration noise better than PVC tape and resists engine oils without unraveling.
Processing & Manufacturing Techniques
General Process Flow
Our manufacturing adheres to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. The process begins with precision cutting and stripping of wires using programmed automatic machines. Next, terminals are crimped onto the conductors using calibrated pneumatic presses. These sub-assemblies are then routed according to the schematic, with operators manually positioning connectors and applying protective sleeving. Finally, the harness is assembled with clamps and ties to match the OEM form factor.
Quality Control: Precision and Testing
Dimensional accuracy is critical. We custom jigs to ensure every branch length matches the design specification, preventing tension or slack in the engine bay. More importantly, every single harness undergoes a 100% Continuity and Hipot Test. Using automated test equipment (ATE), we verify that there are no open circuits, shorts, or miswires. Each circuit is checked for proper pin-to-pin mapping, and a test report is generated for every batch. This guarantees that the harness you receive is electrically correct and ready for installation.
