The Metri-Pack 280 Series offers compact and efficient in-line APTIV connectors that provide high current and current density. These connectors are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, chemicals, and abrasions, making them suitable for automotive applications under the hood as well as marine, off-road, and agricultural applications. With a rating of 16 volts and 30 amps, these APTIV connectors must be used together with a sealed Splice Pack system.

Metri-Pack 280 Connectors offer a continuous maximum current rating of 30A and have a standard ISO 2.8mm configuration. The connectors in the 280 series feature a blade width of 2.8mm, centerline spacing options of either 5mm or 7.7mm, and can accommodate cables ranging from 0.35 mm² to 5 mm². They provide resistance below <10mΩ @20mV and can operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. These connectors are designed with low energy consumption, low voltage capabilities, and excellent resistance against high temperatures, chemicals, and abrasion. Aptiv Metri-Pack 280 Connectors are specifically engineered to meet or exceed the requirements for various marine, appliance, and industrial control applications.
